Windsor Audiology

Windsor audiology centre

Windsor Audiology Centre was established in 1999 by Chris Aldren and his colleague Nigel Bleach both ear nose and throat surgeons working in Windsor. They were later joined by their ENT colleague Stephen Wood. Over the years the team has grown to include three other clinicians:

  • Fiona Barker, a registered clinical scientist, specialising in balance and dizziness.
  • Lynette Elliott, an audiologist/hearing aid dispenser, specialising in paediatric and adult diagnostics, tinnitus and hyperacusis.

We are able to offer a huge range of assessment and treatments, provided by experienced, fully qualified, registered clinicians, with a total of more than sixty years in both the NHS and private sector.

We offer the following:

  • State of the art hearing aid technology.
  • Hearing protection devices.
  • Hearing and balance assessments and rehabilitation.
  • Tinnitus and hyperacusis assessment and treatments.
  • Wax removal.

We aim to provide a high quality, reliable and efficient patient centred service. We are a team committed to delivering excellence in a friendly, professional and safe environment.

We are based at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor and the Bridge Clinic in Maidenhead, but where possible also do home visits. Both sites have sound proofed rooms with the latest audiological equipment. At the Bridge clinic we have a purpose built booth and paediatric kit, which allows us to test babies from around 6 months of age upwards. We work alongside our ENT consultants at both sites and can therefore easily and quickly refer clients to them, for advice and treatment.
